Once in contact with the wound, the hydrogel absorbs exudate (fluid discharge from the wound) and creates a moist environment, which helps to promote wound healing. They are also permeable to air and allow for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, which helps to facilitate the healing process.

Two sizes: 15g & 25g.

Indications

It is used to re-hydrates necrotic tissue and facilitate autolytic debridement, while absorbing exudate without damaging fragile granulation tissue, such as:

• Burns (Ⅰ° and Ⅱ°)

• Venous ulcers (leg ulcers)

• Cavity or sinus wounds

• Diabetic foot ulcers

• Bedsores

All healing stages of different kinds of wounds, excepting wounds mentioned in the contraindications.
